We appreciate the professionalism of transport drivers regarding checking of container numbers being delivered by DP World. We are asking all drivers to continue their good work. As of April 20th 2009. The terminals new operating hours will commence.
Gates open at 0600 hours and close at 2200 hours.
NOTE: Depot operating hours remain unchanged VBS Non-Conformance (Deliberate Over Usage of Slots) 24 Feb 09
Despite numerous warnings a number of carriers are continuing to exceed bookings for the nominated time zones, creating significant delays to other transport companies.
Consequently, effective 1 March 2009 DP World will vigorously enforce Gate Procedures as per the VBS Rules & Regulations, specifically:
Section A16
Subsection (iv) - Carriers who deliberately exceed
bookings for a nominated time
zone will be penalised the
equivalent of 30 credits (30 slots)
for each slot exceeding the original booked amount.
